Born in Lebanon, Pa, Ashleigh Leiter has had an interest in the arts for as long as she could remember. Ms. Leiter has exhibited her work throughout central Pennsylvania and received honorable mention in scholastic competitions through 2004-05. Ms. Leiter was co-founder of the student run gallery, Twisted System, from fall of 2007 to spring of 2008 and has completed several commissions over the past three years. In her work, Ms. Leiter strives to glorify the mundane objects of everyday use and is heavily involved in the technical aspect of painting. She writes and performs her original music around Pennsylvania. Her music is heavily rooted in the folk tradition. She has performed at Annex 24, Gallery 141, Glassworks, the Latin Jazz Café, Square One Coffee Shop, the Allen Theatre, and Art on the Farm. Ms. Leiter is a working artist for the Kalargyros Gallery in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Ashleigh Leiter currently resides in Lancaster, Pa with a BFA in Fine Arts from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design.
